Alberto Vaccaro

Counsellor: Italy

I graduated in Philosophy from the University of Milan, the city where I was born in 1965, then worked as a professional journalist and as an entrepreneur for twenty years. In the last phase of this period I encountered counselling, which gave a professional depth and perspective to an interest in people cultivated for years through voluntary work, in the Milan associations A piccoli passi and Voce Amica.

In 2014 I completed a three-year training in counselling at the Institute of the Person-Centred Approach (Iacp). Since then I have been a member of the Coordinamento Nazionale Counselor Professionisti (Cncp), today with the qualification of trainer-supervisor.

To my counselling skills I later integrated those of coaching, with the Practice in Business Coaching course from Scoa, thanks to which I was able to obtain the CBC® certification from the World Association of Business Coaches in 2016.

Since 2017, I have been authorised to deliver the Gordon Training International communication effectiveness learning courses.

Protect Your Team’s Mental Health

Supporting mental health at work is essential for employee well-being and productivity.

Workplace stress, anxiety, and depression are common, especially among younger employees and women.

Employers can help by promoting open communication, flexible work, EAP access, and inclusive culture.

Work-related stress, inequality, and isolation remain key threats to well-being.

Destigmatising mental health through education, open dialogue, and supportive workplace policies is essential.

Organisations like CCS promote awareness and offer EAPs, training, and crisis support to build healthier workplaces.
